    The Fixed Assets Accountant is an integral member of the Corporate accounting team. The main focus is managing fixed assets for Lucky Brand, including stores and leases. This person will develop and maintain effective relationships with brand / corporate finance team. Actively provide support to these critical business partners.


    • Manage fixed assets module including additions, disposals, and depreciation for approximately 250 retail stores
    • Review and code fixed assets invoices and follow up with the appropriate business partners to resolve issues
    • Communicate with Store Design, IT, and Finance teams to keep track of store openings and closures, and the status of capital projects
    • Assign and maintain the list of valid capital projects in Netsuite
    • Reconcile the fixed assets subledger to the general ledger monthly
    • Provide monthly capital spend reporting out of Netsuite to Finance and capital project owners
    • Reconcile the CIP account monthly; review aged CIP and work with the business to determine appropriate write offs
    • Function as our liaison with ASG, the company that manages our lease accounting, and review and post the monthly journal entries prepared by them related to deferred rent and lease incentives
    • Provide external audit support for the areas of fixed assets and leases
      Be open to taking on other responsibilities within the Accounting Department as time permits



    • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting 
    • 1-2 years of Work Experience, Retail industry preferred
    • Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
    • Self starter and the ability to take ownership of projects
    • Strong personal skills, ability to build trust, confidence and exceptional working relationships
    • Experience with Finance and Accounting systems and processes (budgeting, forecasting & reconciliation of actual results) Netsuite preferred but not mandatory
    • Solid understanding of financial statements (P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow)
    • Strong Excel skills


    Physical Capabilities:

    • Effectively use office equipment including computers, telephones, copiers and faxes
    • Sit for extended periods of time in one position
    • Possess normal manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination
