    We are seeking an experienced Credit Analyst to join Lucky Brand in Los Angeles, California. This position will play an influential role in the development and execution of working capital and risk management initiatives and will report to the Director of Credit and AR.

    Responsibilities

    • Establish and manage credit limits, key risk data and working capital metrics
    • Prepare/present monthly reports and analysis of departmental KPI’s
    • Prepare weekly cash flow forecast and schedules to support the borrowing base certificate
    • Coordinates with all levels of management to gather, analyze, summarize, and prepare recommendations regarding financial plans and forecasts
    • Makes recommendations to management regarding cost saving or profit generating opportunities and profitability improvement strategies
    • Serve as a primary liaison for the Credit Team regarding escalated concerns
    • Work across the Finance team and business to advance analytics and reporting
    • Participate in 2-3 projects annually aimed at continuously improving the business/department
    • Provide ad hoc financial analysis as needed

    Qualifications

    • Bachelors degree in finance or accounting required
    • 3+ years of progressive work experience in credit and/or finance to include prior experience with financial statement analysis, portfolio risk management, working capital analysis, or bank credit underwriting
    • Requires ability to perform advanced spreadsheet modeling and maintenance in Microsoft Excel
    • Requires general understanding and use of Microsoft Word and PowerPoint
    • Must possess the ability to quickly learn system data-mining processes
    • Desire and ability to learn, grow, and develop into leadership roles
    • Comprehension of credit/AR policies as it relates to both theory and practical application
    • Must have strong analytical and problem-solving ability; data-mining, modeling and reporting skills
    • Demonstrated experience making decisions, dealing with ambiguity, and influencing others
    • Polished communicator, comfortable interfacing with and influencing leaders and various stakeholders
    • A forward-thinking, self-motivated individual with a strong desire to improve processes and drive change
    • Enhanced credit and business acumen, not only with the ability to assess creditworthiness, but also to understand and apply other factors/solutions in decision making
    • Adept at reviewing financial and other key data, noting trends and interpreting for vested parties
