Job Purpose:

The Sales Manager will be responsible for proactively driving sales and increasing the brand footprint for the Lucky Brand in the off-price channel.



  • Create strategic initiatives for the off-price channel that align with the financial targets and goals of the company, including the development and negotiation of sales and margin plans.
  • Partner with the SVP Wholesale to develop and strategize 3 year plans of business growth, while identifying key opportunities and risks.
  • Act as the liaison between internal cross-functional teams, including production, design, and merchandising.
  • Advance business growth thru effective analysis of business needs and partner with account executives and planning in advance of market to capitalize on potential opportunities.
  • Communicate with executive level contacts to further refine and develop the relationship with both existing and new accounts.
  • Maximize account and brand profitability by identifying, reacting to, and creating new opportunities
  • Oversee order confirmation, shipping, and charge backs.
  • Keep abreast of current business and competitive trends.
  • Provide leadership to direct reports and develop the team.
  • Negotiate all pricing on special development product and excess to achieve all margin targets.
  • Develop and work with retail partners and internal design and merchandising team to create compelling product for the off-price channel.
  • Analyze sales and create line plans.
  • Work with planning monthly to accurately forecast sales and margins.
  • Effectively manage inventory monthly



  • 5-7 years’ experience in a wholesale environment in a related role
  • Ability to manage multiple complex accounts independently
  • Previous experience managing people
  • Strong problem solving skills
  • Strong sense of urgency and attention to detail
  • Able to adapt to a fast pace ever changing environment
  • Self motivated; ability to take initiative to complete tasks quickly and independently

Physical Capabilities:

  • Effectively use office equipment including computers, telephones, copiers and faxes
  • Sit for extended periods of time in one position
  • Possess normal manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination
