The Business Analyst will be responsible for store planning and strategic analysis for direct to consumer business. The Ideal candidate will possess an eagerness to discover business efficiencies, strong financial acumen, excellent excel skills and the ability to create forecasting models. 


Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:


  • Bottoms up/Tops Down monthly store forecasts based on trend and historical analysis
  • Report and communicate store results vs forecast
  • Analyze store performance with use of attributing/clustering to identify and communicate areas of opportunity/risk to forecasts
  • Manage and maintain store attributing, store volume groups for accurate cluster analysis
  • Utilize store performance analysis to partner with merchandise planning and allocation to implement improvement strategies based on findings
  • Collaborate with Finance to provide monthly payroll targets by store that align with financial targets
  • Partner with Real Estate team to manage comp/non comp stores, Closures, Relocations and new store openings to create Proformas and understand impact to sales and payroll
  • Analyze store performance per square footage to communicate opportunities for assortment/department mix to maximize dollars per square foot
  • Analyze store KPI’s to understand impact to sales and margins
  • Lead and communicate test store groups for various company initiatives and monitor the performance of the initiatives (new promos, merch strategies, etc)
  • Ad hoc strategic analysis and model building to improve the direct to consumer business



  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required (Finance or Accounting or Business related)
  • 1-3 years experience in Investment Banking, Finance, Planning etc. previous retail experience nice to have
  • Strategic forecasting for a multi-dimensional business




  • Ability to synthesis large quantities of quantitative & qualitative data and complex operational processes, think objectively and interpret meaningful themes to develop actionable recommendations 
  • Able to use rigorous logic and analytical methods to solve problems with effective solutions
  • Willingness to challenge the status quo, create and organize work/process to improve efficiency and effectiveness 
  • Proven ability to manage multiple tasks and adapt to a changing, fast paced environment 
  • Initiative and willingness to lead within ambiguous environments 
  • Possess strong organizational and time management skills 
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with proven ability to interact with various management levels 
  • Able to build constructive and effective relationships with a broad and diverse group of business partners; high collaboration with field and HQ counterparts to evaluate and define complex inventory management decisions 
  • Ability to influence and negotiate; present strong & thorough presentations that lead others to action
  • Ability to provide excellent customer service 
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, and have aptitude to learn technical applications quickly
